CHOOSING CARE

Waisty home

Find care that fits what you need.

What support are you looking for? Waisty provides information and helps you outline your preferences. If you want to speak to a care provider, we handle your contact request and prepare a possible introduction.

Start with what matters to you

Would you like a clearer overview, support with everyday habits or to explore medically supervised weight loss? The short guide helps you outline that preference and how you would like to meet a provider. You can see and edit your preferences before deciding whether to make a contact request.

Who will be responsible for your care?

Ask who carries out the medical assessment, who prescribes where appropriate and who you can contact between appointments. Check professional registration in the official register. Ask how your usual GP can be involved, with your permission.

A QUESTION TO TAKE WITH YOU

Who assesses my situation, and who is responsible for my care?

What support is included?

Find out how often you will speak to someone, which professionals are involved and what happens if you need help sooner. Ask about support with food, movement, sleep and the practical changes you want to make.

A QUESTION TO TAKE WITH YOU

Who can I contact between appointments?

What will the whole programme cost?

Request a written overview of consultations, medication if prescribed, tests, support and follow-up. Ask which costs may change, how cancellation works and whether any care is covered by your insurer. Have coverage confirmed rather than assuming it.

A QUESTION TO TAKE WITH YOU

What is included in the total price, and what could cost extra?

What happens later?

Discuss how progress is reviewed, how side effects or concerns are handled and what follow-up looks like. Ask what happens if you pause, change or end treatment. Changes to medication belong in a conversation with your clinician.

What support is available if I pause or stop treatment?

From contact request to introduction

Waisty processes your request and prepares its transfer. The form identifies the receiving provider, shows the details to be shared and explains the purpose and any commercial relationship. You give explicit consent there to the transfer and contact about your request. No second approval is needed for that same recipient, data and purpose. After the transfer, the provider contacts you to discuss support, costs and possible treatment. You decide whether to go ahead.

The care provider discusses support, costs and treatment with you. The form identifies that provider and asks for your explicit consent to share the details shown and for the provider to contact you. We do not ask again for the same transfer. A request does not guarantee an introduction or treatment.
